    Hi Ilya, of course I remember you, and congrats on your being picked up by the Times.

    I would be happy to be interviewed for this blog, however, as for being a 'military fencer', I would say that I was a fencer that was in the military, the other tag implies that I fenced for the military, which of course is something that the WCAP (World Class Athletes Program) is about.

    Hi Mike, this is Ilya Lobanenkov, remember me?

    So I got a spot writing for the Washington Times, a small blog, but it's exclusively about fencing and it's all mine to do with what I please. The beginnings are here:

    I was mostly just playing with the engine, so there are no real articles there yet. I was hoping you will help remedy that. I'd like to interview you as a military fencer that has been to Iraq. I've seen Tim Morehouse post about some Iraqi fencers a while ago. Even if you had nothing to do with them, I'd still like to interview you.

    Let me know what you think.
