Practice day, so only light physical training to save everything else for lesson and bouting practice. Got to the gym for a short workout stretching and further working on the footwork and shoulder issue. Back to gym, still suffereing from Sunday

My lack of proper cold-weather running gear in the morning kept me from doing my sprints to the train station. I do play a new game coming and going from NY Penn to my office in mid-town, if the walk sign turns to flashing, I sprint to cross the street before I get smashed by a cab. I have sent only a very small number of the elderly, pregnant women and children to their death with this new game. No more than I usually do when attempting to catch the train. Saturday morning training for me and my daughter. She had a great lesson and was really fired up. I did all-right was still favoring my knee and the floor in our training space for Saturday morning is sub-optimal (very slick laminate floor). In response to the knee and the floor, did a new drill to loosen my shoulder: pick hand, disengage, pick hand disengage (reading the disengage each time) then hit arm then body. I like it, but am not so good at it yet. Asked to do the drills on the piste lines Fencing Practice Day

Sadly, no gym time yesterday, some important executive from another important bank, wanted a report "talking points" about nothing in particular from an important executive from the bank I work for, and the subject matter was my area of expertise in the bank. Gym was scarificed to create chit-chat from one know-it-all to another know-it-all for mutual tedium. My area of expertise, Mechanical Engineering, in this case water conservation projects the bank has undertaken, is never the most | ||
