Biography:

Grew up in Seattle area, went to Univ. of Wash. Rowed for 5 years. Engineering Education. Worked in anti-submarine warfare during 70s and 80s. High tech 90s to current. Fenced competitively in late 70s and early 80s. Taught by Leon Auriol, Alex Beguinet. Grad school (Oregon State, MSME) '80, 81. Return to fencing 2008.
