I replied to your Global Warming thread, with some of the most logical and informative stuff I've ever posted and it didn't appear 0.o

The only time I post something worth reading, it doesn't show.

Hi Delta, It would only be speculation on my part as to who could that Masked Man be. But my question concerns Super Camp, have you had many saberist sign up and what is the average age and experience. We are trying to decide whether to send Charlie this year. He really missed it last year. thanks, Deb

Strange...your global warming thread doesn't show any text, but when I hold my cursor over the link to it, I can at least see the first few lines of what you typed. It's all a conspiracy!

Slacker and Still Hungover

by Delta on 01-25-2012 at 12:36 AM
Late post on Hangover.
Did an "express" training regimen (whatever that means) for ten days prior to the tournament. Worked on mostly decision point and getting back in shape. I kept things simple.

I will say the tournament was much better this year for two reasons: one of the organizer's wife made this awesome spider design on a bare strip using masking tape....I'll have to dig up a picture somewhere. Spider was for venue's mascot (University of Richmond). Reason

On Being the One in Love and Chasing.

by Delta on 10-23-2011 at 09:00 PM
I always poked fun at graduate students who never see the light of day, and are often like naked mole rats. You know: naked, blind, never see the light of day, very clandestine, mole rats.

Now I am one: funneled into my little microcosm of research to pump out a thesis in some number of years, which will hopefully be a stepping stone for some financial pedestal for the rest of my life while I am naked, blind, never see the light of day, very clandestine, mole rat. Maybe less naked

Night Running

by Delta on 06-08-2011 at 03:17 PM
Cool Runnings!!! Anyone remember that movie? Why can't the weather here relent just a little?

I went to the pool and accidentally fell asleep and woke up with tan lines. Considering my grandmother always criticizes me for looking like a common farmer, I was hoping to stay pale this summer......She's coming next week. Asians never understood why the Western world insists on tanning. Why would one want to promote skin cancer with baking? I don't suppose it helps that I rarely burn and

Serve Me, Slave!

by Delta on 04-21-2011 at 08:59 PM
En route to becoming a bartender, I'm required to serve first. I think it's a good philosophy. I'm not a " in order to fence any of the three weapons, fencing foil first is the best" sort of person. Yet, as bartenders serve food in most restaurants, it's always good to know how the kitchen works. Supplementing during crises helps you stay prepared. Anyway, it's a fast-paced, challenging job, and the 2.5 hours of training provided hardly prepared me for the following days' workload.

Manhatten - GRUMPY METROPOLIS!

by Delta on 03-25-2011 at 01:19 PM
I made it a point to walk as much as I could, despite having a loaded metro card. Being the soft southerner I am, my feet HATED me for three days, but things improved thereafter. I decided that I would never want to live in NYC. Sorry guys, I know you produce wonderful things, like metrosexual/well-dressed VERY attractive gay men/olympic fencers/revenue via museums, etc. BUT I CANNOT STAND IT.
The difference between the metro there and when I lived in Seoul, is that since Korea is a smaller
