So I'm kind of trying to piece together the week. Not keeping daily notes makes it tough, but I just don't care enough about exactly what's getting done. As long as something is getting done it's cool.
I'm sort of randomly alternating between 6k and uphill dashes. I think I may have taken two break days instead of one as well. I'd like to be able to do only uphill dashes, but it's still drains me too much to do for more than two days in a row.
I've mixed in way
So I made it through four straight days of my little hill routine. I guess I only ran up five times each day. I had thought it was six, because I turned around after three, but whatever. Next week will be six.
Yesterday was a light ride only. Caught the symphony doing some short selections for free in the park about a 45 min ride away. Rode a nice little fixie my cousin owns. Stopping without the brakes is a great workout, but I took it pretty easy. The roads weren't too smooth,
So for a couple of reasons I've decided to use this as my workout/training diary. The benefits of keeping a log are obvious, and by keeping it online I don't have to worry about keeping a physical diary. I tend to lose things or forget to bring them along on trips, so this is easiest I think. Also, I think that because I am a very solitary trainer, putting this in a public place will help me fulfill my obligations to myself, and maintain the regiments that I set out.
