Disclaimer: This post is really long. It rambles. It's incoherent. There are grammar mistakes. It's pretty much a rant about my day and some of the crazy things that happened. Yes some. I didn't list them all b/c well.....the post would be longer. So don't read it. But if that wasn't a deterrent read it if you want to.

It's almost midnight, I've just gotten home and I haven't eaten since about 11:30 am so this may not be entirely coherent.

Let's see I witnessed two crimes today.

Crime number 1: A mac truck (no trailer) purposely rear ends a sedan. Twice. Driver of said mac truck pushes up against the sedan driver's bumper and then did it again. The driver of the sedan finally pull's over to I assume call the police. But then the driver of the sedan follows him. I watch at the corner in amazement because I thought the mac truck driver was trying to I guess....help push the car b/c made something was wrong with the car. Then I thought....no that's not it. And that's when the mac truck driver bumps up against the sedan driver the second time. I called the police and reported it but I wasn't a very good witness. I couldn't get a plate for the mac truck driver or even tell them what direction the mac truck driver was going. I let them know the color of the mac truck and where it happened and the store the mac truck driver was driving towards.

Crime number 2: Septa (Southeastern transportation authority) sucks. It really does. There is always something going on. There's always a delay. Always something. So I was headed home from class tonight (or rather last night) and waiting in the subway for the trolley. It was a long wait before a Septa worker let everyone know that there was an equipment problem and we'd have to go to 30th street or 15th street to catch the El (elevated train) to 40th street. This was at 22nd street. So I didn't want to catch the train because it would be a long wait for the trolley that would pick us up at 40th street. So I took the bus at 21st and walnut. Getting to the point of the story....a car pulls maybe 40 feet from the light in front of the bus stop. Two guys in their late teens early twenties are arguing in the car. One guy steals (sucker punches) the other guy and they start fighting in the car. The one guy gets out of the car and the other guy gets out and they still start fighting. I step away from the bus stop and closer to the corner so I can turn and run just in case the fight escalates. It's Philly and I'm not taking any chances. Though it was downtown close to Rittenhouse Square, you just never know. I call the police to report that and as I was calling my bus pulls up. Yay! The driver had a hard time getting around the....I'd say light to middleweight boxers because of course they couldn't be considerate of others and park their car in a parking spot and then fight. Stupid.

Pseudo crimes sniped (too long, here's the summary):

Pseudo crimes that I believe were perpetrated against me......

Crimes:
1. Two gay guys clowning on my cute curly hate. F**k them.
2. Pizza Hut given me H1N1 covered wings. Ranch sauce was thrown in the same container as the wings. They were covered with hot sauce. So disgusting. Oh and the ranch sauce wasn't free. I'm working class and I will ALWAYS have the save a buck mindset. I'm also the speak to the manager kinda person especially when I don't get my "deal" or "sale". I'll clip coupons and shop sales forever. Ain't no shame in my game. Stupid ppl pay full price. Okay maybe they're not stupid but they're certainly not savings savvy.

I'm the same when it comes to speaking to the manager (it has the added bonus of totally embarrassing my teenage kids when I do)! I never thought of it as a class thing, though, but now that you mention it, I am from a working class background, and I expect service (i.e.."don't give me that crap about having a bad day; there's no excuse for ignoring your customer, you d***chebag")
Hope the rest of your day gets better (Disclaimer: am very new to blog comments, so please excuse any inadvertent faux-pas?)

I definitely get the speak to the manager thing from my father. And it was embarrassing every time. I'm really big on customer service. I've worked in customer service and I feel the best way to be good at that job is to mentality reverse roles. The converse is true as well. A good customer should also reverse roles b/c those jobs are hard. But I still won't hesitate to pull out the manager card. Today is definitely better. Yesterday was crazy. Thanks.
