......well my hs reunion is a little over 2 months away. I was looking forward to it, now I really don't care if it happens at all. Why? B/c I'm planning it. By myself. No help. Just a "way to go" and a "thanks for looking out for the class of 2000" from my classmates. Really? That's it. How bout ya'll help with the planning, purchasing decorations, favors, etc. I can see myself now...it's the night before the reunion and I'm all hunched over an iron press transferring iron-ons onto 500 t-shirts that'll be given away as souvenirs. It's not like I haven't asked for help. I have, but no real commitments. I no longer care. In fact our deposit for the hall is due in a few weeks if my classmates don't buy their tickets on time then their won't be enough for a deposit. Then there will be no reunion. I suck for saying this but if this happens I really won't care. I bet the majority of my classmates will wait till the cut off date to buy their ticket. I'm just really overwhelmed right now with this, school (taking two- three week marketing classes) hoping I finally get into law school, work, family, etc. Is it tomorrow yet?

Um, well, welcome to the Human Race. It may get better as you hit milestone graduation anniversaries, but ten years is a minor one.
Might I suggest that you share your frustration with your classmates with a blanket email or on facebook, or however you contact peeps. Someone will step up to the plate.

Not really sure what the human race comment is about but..... yeah

10 years may be minor to some but to my graduating class it's a big deal. People were excited about the reunion when I put the FB page up about a year ago. Now that we're two months away....nothing. Well not really. 4 people registered for on the reunion website. I've sent numereous FB messages to the members of the FB reunion page asking for help and I'd usually get a couple responses. But even those people never actually helped. They just offered to. I was even specific about what I needed them to do. It just looks like it might even happen now. I tried.
