Die hard was such a good friggin movie. Bruce Willis just wrecking a bunch of europeans... He was blood and guts with a pistol for a while, and then later on he got his hands on a machine gun, and really started ruining people's lives.
I just got my A recently. Man that feels good to have a high rating. It's tough going to a tournament and having to beat the tough A's and B's to survive in pools. Hopefully i'll get to knock around the lower rated B's and C's.
BYAHHHHH.
What was the biggest hurdle for me to overcome? Fencing in tournaments like I fenced in practice. For some reason, I because a terrific choke artist. I just couldn't perform under pressure. I kept practicing and training until i was actually ridiculously cut and conditioned. It was really frustrating to put all that time into working out, just to have things fall a part during a tournament.
That seems to be a huge skill as well... being able to fence with the same kind of determination in a tournament as on does during practice.
