It was a good sabre night, with qatet, Will, Mike, Charlotte, and Tom. qatet and I were going to drill, and everyone joined in, so I just did pair drills of straight attack, figuring everyone could use it. We sure could! One of us waves it around, one starts foot before hand, one attacks high from a raised shoulder, and so on. To change partners, we did the standard "rotate" I learned, which is to move one to the right. Then, because there seemed to be no foilists, ...
My husband would prefer not to give up half a day of work to take me to my appointment tomorrow so I drove about a mile, walked for three minutes, and drove back. If there was a way I could drive without using my leg, this would work. I am just not up to it yet. Who wants to bet that I wind up driving myself anyway? Pt is making almost no progress now and still hurts like hell but I am about ready to throw away the painters tape marking the minimum ...

It was a little sore before my lesson, but still had a good lesson tonight. Worked on some real simple slow/relaxed touches to the wrist w/ parry-riposte, counter attacks, and ended with the usual retreating parry-riposte bit. My issue was with the brain-farts (as usual) when it came to longer runs of parry-riposte ...

We went to germany, austria, france, and the czech republic. It was possibly the best 3 weeks of my life but there was definately something missing. Other than the week of school that I missed, I missed my intense fencing lessons, I missed correcting my mistakes, I missed the speed of a match, and I missed ...
