Originally, I intended to go fencing.
I decided against it because of the heat. Temperatures are way up high and I honestly didn't feel like disguising me and fencing in an overheated gym hall.
I thought, running would be a good idea. Yet, again, the heat kept me from going and if I make up my mind to go run at 8pm, I know I won't do it anymore as I get lazy in the evening.
So I played badminton for one hour. Yes, I know, it's inside too. But they keep the doors open so a slight drought kept it "nice".
I got a Polar watch not long ago. A friend gave it to me. I decided to train with the watch and the body band or however you call it. I think it's cool to be able to read exactly the pulse you train at and the calories used. I'll also start wearing it for fencing and am actually quite curious what the average pulse will be.
Furthermore have I decided to cut back on the alcohol a bit. Especially in the summer I love to drink a nice cool beer in the evening. In the winters this usually is a glass or 2 of red wine. I'll see that I don't drink during the week anymore. All of course also with the goal of loosing some weight, at the end....
