I fenced Div2/3 foil. This is the first national level foil event that I have fenced in something like 3 or 4 years, since before the timings change. I fenced for fun, so I'm not going to lay out a full summary of every bout. Div3: Went 4-1 in my pool, seeded in the lower 32 because I had a small pool. drove up to fence this event mostly for practice. wanted to fence some foil before atlanta, and wanted to fence epee period, since i don't have anyone to practice with in practice. i treated my pools in epee like practice in order to get some much needed practice in. results reflected this, as i dropped a lot more touches than i should've, and dropped a bout. i can't really recall who was in my pool, but i went 4-1, +18. ended up seeding tied for first, on the top side ...
