I've heard about flopping in other sports, which is where an athlete fakes being knocked around to try to get penalties on the opposing team. I think I ran into it in fencing for the first time at a team event yesterday.
I was doing a team epee event and the other team consisted of a girl, and 2 guys one of whom was the captain.
Anyways when the girl was up with one of the other guys on my team, the guy did a fleche and she stepped into it and went flying and he got
I'll be going to a funeral for one of my relatives next weekend. He's from my cousin's side, the guy was a world war 2 vet. He was a pretty nice guy, I used to see him every year at the family gatherings at Chirsmas. One of the things I remember was how worked up he used to get if anyone wore a hat indoors. Must of been awful to be in that spot. They caught the guy alive so he'll go on trouble. He seemed like some sort of crazed academic from reading the articles. You'd think if you could get a PHD you'd be smart enough to not throw your
Well the heat wave continues unabated. I'm really glad that I got that air conditioner it makes it bearable. Its a little on the noisy side but I'd rather put up with that than die of a heat stroke or something.
I fixed my bond arms derringer grip up, I used a hogue wrap around, trimmed some of the excess rubber off and its great.
I picked up one of the driving holsters they sell for it. Its a basic crossdraw one. I could see the holster being a good way for something
