I visited my mom for her birthday today. She had some nice roast beef for a meal. She was upset that my younger brother forgot her birthday.

They had a new german shephard. It spent the entire time snarling and growling at me and looking like it wanted to kill me. I found it amusing. It reminds me of the german shephard my parents got when I was growing up which also spent the whole time growling and barking at me for years. The border collie they got loves me though.

I guess theres something about me that sets off german shephards. No biggie.

I was looking on the net and I found a new fencing club that I hadn't seen before in my area. Looks like part of the Mark Masters Franchise.

I remember seeing him at 2004 Summer Nationals and watching as his fencers won lots of medals. I also met Mark Masters at Yuri Rabinovich's memorial back in 2004.

I don't know about this particular instructor but the club is only 45 minutes away.

I guess I'm jumping all over on whether or when I'll go back to fencing but I have a strong urge to check the place out.

Best way to get back in shape for fencing is to fence. I'll see what the instructor says when he emails me back. If I can make it work somehow I'll give it a shot.
