Lessons vs. Tennis Elbow

The focus of the lessons for the time being is bladework. Explicitly, relearning how to make my wrist and fingers work. I still have a problem with tennis elbow, as it occasionally likes to remind me that it's still hanging around. I've been erring on the side of caution and avoiding certain exercises, which means fat and lazy finger and wrist muscles.
The differences between how the coach moves the blade and how I move my blade are both small and the difference between night and day.
I have a feeling that I will soon be dragging my video camera back to practice and asking people to demonstrate a few manuevers for me so that I can stand in from of the ibook and practice moving my writst/arm/fingers correctly.
I discovered last night that all the practicing I'd done had merely reinforced some bad habits.
Veteran fencing is more bladework than footwork and I'm holding the weapon very, very tight and stiff.
On the plus side, Yes, after four years I can finally FEEL the difference.
I had cut back on my OT exercises since this work-related stuff began overwhelming me more than usual and I fear it's going to continue as more of the same for a while.
