I have eaten enough apples to kill a horse and I'm still craving sweets.

Last night, I was moving stuff around in my car and saw an orange M&M lying on the floor of the car. It didn't look TOO dirty. For a brief moment, I almost grabbed it and tossed it into my mouth. Almost.

Common sense prevailed (it was, after all, on the FLOOR of the CAR).

I have had an interesting day thus far, partially because we had a power outage at work last night and partially because Comcast failed last night and we have/had no internet connectivity. My husband, Mr. DoubleE, has been checking the Comcast forum and it looks like they're pushing an invalid configuration file to modems of the type we own. IOW, they broke it.

Pause to rant for a moment: Why is it that so many large places push software fixes without first testing them on multiple platforms and then fail to monitor the network for failures?

When my husband called last night, they said they had a high rate of non-responsive modems but my husband was the first to call and report a problem.

I need caffeine. Or something.
