So the MRI results are in... I spoke to my athletic physician about the implicatuions... he seems to think teh surgery may not be necessary but wants me to consults witha surgeon nonetheless... This all may as well be in Chinese to me, but if someone had something similar or knows what the impliactions of this are for fencing or excercises to help it heal, I'd be very thankful...

Fibrosis of the posterior aspect of Hoffa's fat pad suggestive of fat pad impingement in the intercondylar notch.
