Much to my horror, I've discovered that a brown sweat stain likes to develop right in the crack of my butt on my new fencing pants.

This didn't happen with my old pants. I know I wipe my ass, so I'm guessing maybe it has something to do with the crotch strap? It felt kinda tight lately, so maybe its cramming my pants up my butt and thus the sweat stain? Or maybe i Have some rust or something on one of my crotch straps? Could be my lame or my jacket. Hrrm.

Does anybody else have this problem? Or have had that problem? Please tell me it's not a feature of my new Olympia pants.

Very strange. Maybe try a cork?

It's more evident on the inside, though the longer I go without washing the darker it becomes with each practice and the more you can see it from the outside.

Is the stain evident on the inside of the fencing pants? Or just the outside?

Forgot to mention that I already wear running shorts in addition to my underwear and fencing pants. I've practiced without the shorts though and the stain appeared all the same.

Note: It's not very evident right away, it just develops after about three practices, which forces me to wash my pants. I get no such stains elsewhere on any of my uniform and I used to go weeks without washing the old stuff and I never saw a stain.

Try wearing some running shorts under your pants and over your underwear. The extra layer should help you find out where the stain is coming from.

I have not seen this, nor heard of it... but seriously, you have my sympathy on that one.
