I'm having the worst time with ordering equipment lately.

I ordered a 48 Uhlmann lame. It was too tight. Exchanged for a 50, hooray.

Ordered a Medium Negrini plasteron. It was too small as well. Upgraded to a large, which is big enough but sticks out from under my current size 48 jacket.

Then it was time to order my new jacket. I'd heard, time and time again, "order the same size jacket as the lame," and my past ordering trend was telling me I was ordering too small. So I order a size 50 Uhlmann Olympia jacket. Logical. Sublime. Everything will work out this time.

It's too big.

I've also heard "buy stuff at NACs duuuh," but I've never been and could never afford to go to one.

For the record, I'm 5'4".

I could, but I'd have to find the time for it. I may just make it a side trip when my girlfriend and I go to visit NYC.

Can you afford a trip down to Bridgewater, NJ? Absolute has a showroom there, and they're always more than happy to let you try things on before you buy them.
