So first and foremost I am incredibly excited about having finished my library! My wife and I (mostly her) have worked our butts off to get it up and running. Scraped the textured crud off our ceiling, painted, installed a very nice fan and most importantly put up a wall of book shelves!
Assuming that the picture is now in there you can see that it is very exciting. The empty shelves are for my wife's law school books. It is very exciting for us. Though I feel I need to go out and buy more books now that I don't have any in boxes.
Thanks to my parents for making this project a reality.
Fencing is going really well. I am hoping for a strong showing this weekend at the hangover. Tournaments have not been my thing this season, so it would be nice to make a splash in 2009. It was a little under a year ago I surprised a lot of people with some strong finishes, maybe this is my time of the year.
My job is scaring me a bit with the strong possibility of not working there. They are closing my store and I am not completely sure what they will be doing with me. Let us hope I continue to work there until I find something else at the least.
