Who am I? I have a happy little existence with my husband, my large yellow lab & my two kittens. My dog is 100 lbs of bouncy joy. My male cat is addicted to "Greenies", catnip & thinks he's a dog. My female cat looks like a sweet housecat, but is a serial killer.
I took up fencing after I turned 40 & wanted to find a sport that would keep me active and fit into my old age.
I spend my time coaching beginners, training, & working at our vintage autosound business.

I'm off on vacation for 2 (maybe 3) weeks. No internet, no phones, nothing but the outdoors.

It's a sweet spot, no bears (at least in that area), bugs or cougars. Lots of wild horses, free range cattle, lake otters (quite rare) and fish... tons and tons of large rainbow trout.

The only annoyance are the deer mice and a few leeches in the lake. Hubby has been checking out the ATV trails on google earth. As this spot will be a huge mine in the near future, we're looking for another sweet spot to go on future trips. We've made a lot of friends with the locals, so we're going to chat with them as well.

The Indians, hubby brought out to his "sweet fishing spot" have invited us up to their lodge. It'll be nice for his mother as they're very respectful to elders.

You poor thing!

Have fun, and don't let the bears gnaw on you.
