Who am I? I have a happy little existence with my husband, my large yellow lab & my two kittens. My dog is 100 lbs of bouncy joy. My male cat is addicted to "Greenies", catnip & thinks he's a dog. My female cat looks like a sweet housecat, but is a serial killer.
I took up fencing after I turned 40 & wanted to find a sport that would keep me active and fit into my old age.
I spend my time coaching beginners, training, & working at our vintage autosound business.

I started my day thinking I'll put the moose roast in the crock pot early in the morning so it'll be ready for my husband for dinner (while I'm at fencing). I have 3 classes tonight and won't be home until after 10 pm.

As I was taking it out of the cupboard, I dropped the ceramic interior pot. So I e-mailed the manufacturer to see if I can get a replacement. If not, with Christmas coming it's quite likely I'll find another one on sale.

So I put the roast in the cast iron dutch oven & popped it in the oven (thinking hubby can heat up the roast when he gets home). I busied myself with doing a thorough cleaning of the kitchen. This included the microwave... as I cleaned, I thought about how awful it would be to break the glass platter that the food spins around on.

Now at this point I bet you can guess what I managed to do...

I realized I needed a new microwave as it has been on it's last legs for a while... and they are cheap to replace. But still.... could someone please put me out of my misery. Things happen in 3's I don't want to break anything else today.

It's 10:30 & I'm about to go to sleep... so far nothing. I drove carefully because I didn't want the third thing to be me or my car.

Well nothing else if you don't count one epee not working & that I somehow managed to not bring enough floor cords so I had to run 3 strips instead of 4 tonight... which I count as a bit of bone-head thing to do.
