I take serious issue with your assertion that Jews in America have Stronger ties to another country. Also I could make the same argument about Irish Americans, Russians the list goes on.

I have given ample proof in the previous thread, including quotes by Colin Powell when he held Joint Chiefs Office and Secretary of State, about his relationship with Jewish Lobby(Jinsa/AIPAC). Also Ariel Sharon's comments are public record.. he was quoted as saying that thanks to the same lobby the jews in Israel control America and would never deviate substantially from Israeli policy on anything that matters.

And you are seriously kidding yourself if you think the Irish lobby is as effective as the Jewish one. Its a twofold argument...that they have a severe compromise in their SINGULAR and SOLE duty to the United States as citizens AND they have the power to misalign or otherwise derail the US from that which is in its best interests on any given subject.

I could care less, for example, that the Polish lobby doesnt love the US as much as it should, but they have next to no financial, or sociopolitical sway.

Those Jews in the US that have ties to Israel stronger than their ties as naturalized or born citizenry of the US are guilty of an infidelity, not to be confused with 'infidel'.

Similarly, the argument is not that Jews in general, don't deserve what influence they've obtained, but that if enough of it is nepotistic and includes that portion of the Venn Diagram that contains those Jews who are unfaithful in some way to the US or are MORE faithful to Eretz Yisrael, then THAT alignment is fundamentally deleterious to the US.

Finally, I am of the firm belief that American Media , or any infrastructural industry should not be controlled by any one section of the population, that includes whites, blacks or any other race. Especially if that one race is not particularly representative of any major demographic. Regardless of what you may believe, Jews are not representative of any major racial demographic. They are one of the smallest ethnic minorities in the US.

Incidentally, I am equally critical of ethnic Chinese gaining too much lobby ground in our government. They have a track record of being clannish as well and for at least as long as Jewish history.

Whether or not Jews work hard isnt the issue. They work smart too. What IS the issue is how they wield that power they've gained and whether it is in the SOLE interest of the US or if its divided, or if it is solely in the interests of Israel.

If you wish to belabor the point further please bring some evidence, non anecdotal evidence that:

1) JINSA/AIPAC are ineffectual in lobbying expensive pro-Israel policy in the US

2) That pro Israel foreign policy has a net cost-benefit to the US

3) That there is any political gain for the US that ISNT tied directly with Israel's own gain. In other words a pure win for the US that would justify the pursuit of pro Israel policy whether or not Israel would lobby for it.

I suspect you can do NONE of these things.
