Just took the dogs out for a walk. Not much else really. My arms ache from the heavybag and I'm getting my workouts from the different programs I own in line.

Also working on building a couple of guitars and an exam that I have to take.

I used hydrogen peroxide as a oral debrider today and that helped with my infection in my gums as well as whitened my teeth a shade.

Stretched a little too. Gotta get some height back in my kicks and I need to loosen up before I even consider plyo drill ...More Read More

Stubborn infection. Theres still a bit left on the left side. I have two days left on the amoxicillin. I can feel it in the sinuses that are right on top of the cheekbone under the eye.

Grrr @ infection. My right floating rib is mostly healed. Hopefully in a few days I can start running on the treadmill again. That's so key to losing fat.

On gym days I typically warmup with a 1/2 hour leisurely walk that turns into a power walk/light jog for the last 5 minutes.

Afterwards I stretch a ...More Read More

really plays havoc on ones digestive system. I probably lost 7 pounds today of pure crap. Eek.

Other thatn oats in the morning or some sweet potatoes/yams/beets I'm cutting out the sugar/refined carbs as much as possible.

Just to keep me sane I will have one small bowl of Korean Rice but it isn't hulled. still has the bran on it.

Beyond that its vegetables, meats and vitamins. Trying to stay away from red meat though. Mostly fish, turkey, chicken and egg whites. Lots of broccoli, spi ...More Read More

I started my workout by eating some steak and garlic. yep, just pure meat and slightly cooked garlic. Garlic is great for bacterial and viral infections. Allicin...umm good stuff. I actually did have several heaping spoons of yogurt to help digest all that meat.

Meat is good. Brings out the tiger in you.

today just a brisk morning walk with my sons followed by some light heavy bag work.

Now I gotta go work on my guitar, eat more garlic and take more antibiotics.

Mainly just a light walk and some stretching. I'm very tight. face is still bothering me so I cant do much in re getting my heart rate up.

Did hit the heavy bag a few times: 3 sets of 2 minutes. Harder than one thinks when one realizes that that bag is 300lbs.

Then finally some shoulder extensions with the bands.

As soon as this infection clears I will go about the Ross Enamait plan and combine it with some stuff out of P90X and other programs to keep the boredom factor from creeping ...More Read More

Ok so I have decided to finally get off my ass and do something about ... my ass. It follows me everywhere and my new home has full length mirrors..

It's like I'm getting boned in the ass by the Michelin man my ass is so huge. My dogs routinely bite me in the ass and say... "Fooled me again... thought it was a marshmallow of infinite size"

If you've seen John Pinette, the comedian in "I'm Starvin", well, I dont LOOK like him but our conception of buffets and how they should operate is ide ...More Read More

In Fencing Journals I wonder how many Asian Fencers there are in Entry Tools Rate This Entry

the US? Around the world?

I think that, to celebrate Asian heritage around the world and its involvement in fencing, that we should celebrate it with our own, exclusive "Asian Games"

Of course the non Asians would be excluded of course as it is a celebration of Asian Heritage and fencing.

I wonder where I could find this out? I spose I could call the USFA but perhaps there is someone who reads my blog who could point me in the right direction.

We could call it the Confucius Games. ...More Read More

I used a neti pot for the last two days and I have to say I like it. It's horribly gross which of course appeals to me in much the same way collecting Garbage Pail kids did in 2nd Grade did.

I have a minor sinus infection or at least some swelling. So I was prescribed Medrol(methyl prednisolone) and Augmentin.

I know women hate antibiotics but for us guys Augmentin works like a charm. but what REALLY works is the Medrol.

Wow I feel great. My ribs dont hurt, my back feels more limber d ...More Read More

I dunno which, mebbe it was Gladwell.

They borrowed a word from dentistry: concrescence- teeth growing into one another.

They use it to mean many things growing synergistically into a single unified whole.

I have discovered that I need more concrescence in my life.

I'm thankful to Tim Morehouse for turning me on to Outliers. I'm currently spending a lot of time processing that. My first, very cursory, reading of that book had me horrified.

It's almost a verification of conspirac ...More Read More
