I used to be able to do full splits...both ways. I took it for granted then one day I tried to do and it was not so good. My mother's more flexible than I am now; it's the yoga.

Saw some pictures of myself at the camp and oh boy, my back knee is turned in more than I was aware of. It happens a lot more when I'm tired. I'm not sure if it's something I want to change completely, especially since the calcaneofibular ligament ( think of the crescent shaped padding surrounding your outer ankle bone) is still healing from partial tear. I had no idea it would take so long to heal. Suspending my heel and placing more weight on the outside part of the back foot hurts the ligament, especially when lunging. I adopted a lackey mangey-cat looking stance and it makes me cry...looking at those pictures.

I keep hearing terrible things about the Absolute ultra-lights. I don't think anyone on the team had problems with them, I certainly haven't with mine and it's been washed regularly. Keeping my fingers crossed because I really don't like being sweaty in a place with a humidity index of "it's so humid, it could rain." Spiteful, that's what it is, spiteful.

Every day I come home, the first thing I hear is, " So, when are you getting a job?"
AHHHHHHH! 20% of recently graduated people have a real job. I definitely picked the worst year in living history to graduate. I wonder if the school will take me back to be a SUPER SENIOR and do a victory lap.

Freshmen and prospects everywhere with their lanyards that have their names and where they're from on them. Reminds me of lost puppies, " If found, please return _________ to ________ ." They're so cute when they trip over the uneven bricks. Hey, no hard feelings, I'm still a hardcore tripper. But I'm not cute. I'm old, graduated, and I don't have the look of a fresh box of crayons and clean, sharp cornered paper on my face.

Anyone else like the sound of scissors cutting paper (Family Guy line from Stewie)? Maybe it's good the ivory tower and I are just good pen pals now.

Plans are to head to the beach for a week con amigos, finally get to see my cousin after about 6 years (speaks little English), and surfing! Scoping out some clubs in Myrtle Beach.
