Thank You Coach

I just wanted to give a little thanks to my coach (Although I don't think he'll read this). I have a lot of things going at school and my parents only wanted me to fence once a week. Although in the beginning, he wanted me to go to two classes a week, my coach is starting to understand that I'm going at a different pace from others in the club. I just had a private lesson with him, and I just felt that he adjusted to my needs and I am so grateful for that. So, thank you coach for understanding me and in return I promise to work my hardest! As a side-note I've started to realise that 30 minutes of fencing is not enough! After the private lesson, I was so excited to do more. I can't wait for my next group class!!!

If your coach isn't going to read this, it's part of your role as a student to tell this to your coach. They aren't all knowing (though some might like to think so, and some fencers perpetuate that myth). Letting him (or her) know that they are doing exactly what you need is part of the communication that has to exists between you and the coach.
