    I decided to drive up to Hohokus for the women's open, which looked like a reasonably strong event even if it was a small tournament made up largely of Bergen members who had done the fencing camp. I left with plenty of time to spare. When I merged onto the New Jersey Turnpike, however, it became rapidly clear that I was not going to get there on time no matter HOW early I had left, because a tractor-trailer had overturned overnight.   2. An argument against realism in lessons

    The dominant thinking on F.Net seems to be that lessons should be very bout realistic, which very few artificial cues. The coach should always be doing footwork, and making realistic actions. This is the way the majority of my lessons have been of late. Especially with footwork, I very rarely walk out a lesson, I'm usually doing footwork.
