A very good evening indeed. Dave and Ben were there, and so were Ella, Dawn, Kiersten, and Donna. I fenced Dave three or four times, in five, ten, and fifteen-touch bouts--he beat me except for the five-touch bout--and Ben a couple of times, and everyone else as well. Tomorrow, I return to the stuff that I cannot talk about in public places. Die hard was such a good friggin movie. Bruce Willis just wrecking a bunch of europeans... He was blood and guts with a pistol for a while, and then later on he got his hands on a machine gun, and really started ruining people's lives. I just got my A recently. Man that feels good to have a high rating. It's tough going to a tournament and having to beat the tough A's and B's to survive in pools. Bladepoint, the only local club with its own facility (24/7 floorspace), has closed. Some club members are trying to find another space and start a new club with the existing members. I am saddened by this change in circumstances and I wish the members success in finding a location which will be suitable and affordable. Note: I changed the title because I thought the original title sounded too much like a funeral notice. I really don't know what to say about this news ...
