The local sectional event is now up to THIRTEEN (13) WS fencers and has 2 Cs, 1 D, and 1 E. Update Friday, at 1825 pm: And now there are FOURTEEN (14). 2 Cs, 1D, 1E, and 10 Us. If just one more WS fencer signs up, it will be a D1 event. If we can get at least one E and one D (or higher), then we'll have a C1 event. I didn't ice my knee last night. In fact, I haven't iced my knee as often as I once did and the only reason I'm icing it at all is to avoid the possibility of swelling right before Atlanta. I am not healed. There was no laying on of hands to make my knee whole again and I'm very aware that it feels "different". More, I still have no power in that knee to push forward into a good lunge.
