Well, its now officially 2009. I have so many random thoughts, so I think I'l post some of them here. 1) I graduate college next year, which is kinda scary. Even though I have a good idea of what I want to do after I graduate, it still scares the piss outta me. Taking classes is a very familiar environment, and I know how to succeed in it. Sabre got screwed over again by the holidays. The local club was closed for Christmas time and again for the New Year's celebrations, and sabre is held only once a week here. I only have enough equipment for one person and no one in my family ever had any sort of interest in supporting my fencing endeavors (I think they got apathetic right after the ballet and swimming career). Mother is back from the hospital and I'm feeling stressed. For a mental health escape, I plan to go to Columbus and fence in a sabre competition against girls about 1/3rd my age. Thus far, the fencing strip seems to be the only place where I can focus on something other than my mother's situation.
The gym closed at 6pm on New Years Eve so I came home, started reading "My name is Asher Levy" (a Christmas present) and went to bed early. I then slept about 20 of the next 24 hours, felt like a slug the few times I was awake, and went back to bed again.
