It occurred to me while I'm watching Olympic coverage that at one point or another, I've been lucky enough to fence all four of the U.S. Olympic women sabre fencers, plus three of the fencers from other countries. I went 4-5 with Sada in Nationals in a pool bout when she was that new young kid everybody was getting excited about. I went 4-5 with Mariel in a pool bout at a NAC.
