Well, I survived the NAC. Did I qualify for Nationals in June, yes, was I satisfied with how I fenced? Absolutely not. To begin, I lost every single bout and clawed my way to last place. However indicators are important too. But not good enough, I have NEVER finished last in any tournament. I survived the Vet-combined WS Saturday. My knees hurt and I was just plain tired. My objective for the day was to medal because I wanted another one of those nice travel mugs. I lost a bout to Heidi Runyan in the pool (I think she was amped up after yesterday's DE loss, because she was hitting me pretty hard, at one point hitting me in three places including my shin on one touch!) so was seeded 8th and was in the 32.
