We just got back last night from fencing an event called Chaos. There were ALOT of very new fencers there, but there were some people that knew which end of the weapon to hold. Overall, the GMUFC results were very good. We didn't have any of our best fencers there, and we still medeled in every weapon. Foil. Although my month off doesn't end until early November, I competed in a tournament at Temple today and I'm signed up for a tournament at Medeo next week. I always enjoy the Temple one, which is a nice sharpener for the Temple team, and the tournament at Medeo also offers a veteran mixed tournament as well as a women's, so I couldn't resist signing up. Ok, so it is time for another pity party. I could not convince my wife to drive me to the local tournament today. I have not fenced since about a week before my seizure on September 8. Granted, that bought me a week in hospital, but I thought all this medicine, CPAP, carving my head like a melon, were supposed to make me better.
