Last week on my birthday I got my ear pierced. I was joking around about it, only half-serious about mutilation, but my son got me small diamond studs for my birthday (his wife complaining that he never bought HER diamond earrings) and I had to go through with it. My daughter was also there for the celebration, and she set up an appointment for the piercing. Her husband went with me and got both his pierced. We two large men were very brave; no tears, no blood, oh we were proud of ourselves. ...
