    Well, tomorrow I've got a resit for Uni, and quite frankly, this one module is getting under my skin. Although I know that I don't want to pursue a career with my degree course, I do still want the bloody bit of paper saying I passed.

    Thing is, my work have been less than helpful about this. I told them I was needing time to study for it, so I could just go and get it over with, then could concentrate on my job (provided I get the promotion I've been after, but that's a whole other ...

  2. Looking Ahead

    I went to fencing practice last night to do footwork and direct some practice bouts (I can't do anything more). I also talked to the coach about easing back in and he suggested that when I'm approved for fencing again, I start by fencing the kids and the beginners.

    Or as he put it: Don't overdo it.

    5 minutes later, we were doing footwork and I joined the kids jumping back and forth sideways.

    Linda! Don't do that!

    The PT told me I should jump. ...

  3. Making it longer

    That's what I have to do to my plantar fascia tendon - make it longer. I have to stretch it. The PA agrees with my self-diagnosis of plantar fasciitis. She gave me stretching exercises (I've been doing them for a while), advice to use arch supports (I've been using them for a while) and a prescription-strength anti-inflamatory. That's new.

    The AI is nice. It takes away the pain. The problem is that it is only temporary. When it wears off, the pain is back. I need to fix the ...
