  1. Tricks up my Sleeve

    by , 05-31-2007 at 11:47 PM
It's the last Thursday (epee) night of the month and the format for this session was a 15-touche round robin to simulate tournament conditions. I gave my best effort in spite of feeling not well health-wise. (I'm still fighting a little bronchitis and a couple of other annoying things.)

I fenced someone new today. This was good. Very tournament-esque to step on piste and have to figure someone out from scratch. He looked good but I played my game - control of distance, tightness ...

He was so frustrated at the end that he fled the hall without a lesson at about 2015 (we normally stay until 2130 or so). Lesson with Alex. normal elements.

Second Wednesday, ATK and I. We drilled, and I ...

  4. Back?

    by , 05-31-2007 at 12:39 AM
I finished the chapter I was working on, and the change in my mindset is palpable.
