    It was sort of a tough day at work. I should have my internet taken away from me. I did find a site with actual pictures of a craniotomy. Good thing I will be asleep. I imagine I will have a good size headache. Not to mention a good sound as the wind whistles through.

    I tried calling the surgeon's office to schedule but the person who does the scheduling was still out. Sort of a disappointment, but not really.

  2. Sparse pickings

    I arrived late because of a work function and couldn't take a lesson with Ahren. He showed me a couple of things I can do in the weight room--leg stuff with the sled and a core exercise that might pay off.

  3. The latest on the knee

    Today was check-up day at the Physical Therapy location.

    The bad news is that my knee is swollen this morning. Next time I drive three hours (one way) to a competition, I need to ice that knee a little longer before driving home.

    The good news is that I've made good progress and I turned in the torture device. I can do an active heel lift without needing to warm up first. I have full extension and flex. The strength tests were in the 70s except for one, which was ...

    It's funny about fencing and fencers. We are all generally smart people, but it often appears that intelligence flies out of people's heads like birds off a wire, just as soon as they walk into a fencing club.
